Brace for Impact: Our Family’s Journey Through Transition

Life is a constant ebb and flow, and as we’ve settled into our new home, I’m reminded how change often comes in waves. I find myself slipping into the trap of thinking that life should be smooth sailing between those waves. As we approach the holiday season, I wanted to share some updates about our family and how we’re navigating this exciting yet challenging time.

Navigating the Waves of Change

With our recent move to Colorado Springs, we’ve encountered both opportunities and challenges. One significant change has been the decision to homeschool one of our children for half the day. This new routine has meant that seeking a traditional job is no longer feasible for me. The shift forces me to reassess how I can contribute to our family while balancing our new responsibilities.

Additionally, my previous company underwent a significant transformation in its business practices, pushing me further into the realm of exploration for new ways to serve others. The transition hasn’t been easy, especially with the rising cost of living in Colorado Springs, which requires us to be more mindful of our finances. Adjusting to these changes takes time, but we’re finding our footing.

Unexpected Blessings

Amidst the challenges, I discovered an unexpected blessing: a fantastic opportunity with a new stable, clean & mission-driven skincare company. I wasn’t actively searching for this, but it has proven to be a wonderful fit for me. The products are not only effective but have also helped me eliminate endocrine disruptors from our home. It feels great to have clean, safe products that everyone in the family can use without worrying about harmful ingredients.

I’ve always disliked scrutinizing ingredient labels, so having a trusted source for skincare that aligns with my values has been a relief. This journey has allowed me to serve others more meaningfully, all while caring for my family and nurturing our well-being.

Looking Ahead

As the holiday season approaches, we’re embracing the changes and challenges. It’s a time for reflection, gratitude, and connection. I look forward to sharing more about our experiences in Colorado Springs and how we’re adjusting to this new chapter of our lives. Change is constant, but so is the potential for growth, connection, and joy.

Conclusion

In sharing these updates, I hope to highlight the beauty of navigating life’s waves, even when they feel overwhelming. Every challenge holds the potential for growth, and with each wave that crashes, we find new opportunities to ride the surf together as a family. Here’s to embracing change and celebrating the journey ahead!
